Day 7

Last night (Day 6) we decided to dine out at the local Mexican restaurant.  It was walking distance, but we wanted to keep Lana close by, so that she wouldn't get anxious and annoy our neighbors at the campground, which meant that we needed to keep her in the van.  We managed to all squeeze into Loraine, despite a full load of all three bikes, so we thought that was worth a group selfie:

Cary and Alea decided to log some extra miles in the saddle today, covering about 63 miles.  We were within 25 miles of Canada by midday, where we stopped for refreshments in Ione.  We're currently camping along the Pend Oreille River at Panhandle Campground, about 18 miles south of Ione.
